Vada Chennai Movie Review & Rating
Vada Chennai, the Most anticipated film from the golden combo of Vetrimaran and Dhanush, has been released on Thursday, 17 October.
Vada Chennai marks the third collaboration between Dhanush and Vetrimaaran After superhits like Polladhavan (2007) and Aadukalam (2011). The movie also stars Samuthirakani, Ameer, Aishwarya Rajesh, Andrea Jeremiah, Daniel Balaji and Kishore in pivotal roles.
Vada Chennai Story:
The film opens with a murder where Guna (Samuthirakani), Senthil (Kishore), Velu (Pawan) and Pazhani ( Dheena) sit with bloodstained hands, they have just murdered the most influential person in the area and they discuss how they can now take his place.
While Guna and Velu agree to go to prison, Senthil says he will take them out in bail and he does not keep his word which results in a gang war.
Dhanush is Anbu, a superb carrom-player and he wants to get a government job on sports quota. He falls in love with the Padma (Aishwarya Rajesh) but accidentally ends up as a key player in the gang wars.
Vada Chennai Review & Rating:
The biggest strength of Vada Chennai is Strong performances from Dhanush and all the Strong pivotal roles and Director Vetrimaaran is the Hero of the of Film.
Dhanush played his role very well and gets the meatiest scenes. Andrea Jeremiah who steals the show as Chandra in a well-written powerful role. Aishwarya Rajesh Played her role Very well as the foul mouthed and hyperactive Padma. Ameer as Rajan, the anchor of the film and he creates a strong impact. Kishore, Daniel Balaji and Samuthirakani done their role very well and neatly.
Cinematographer Velraj and the art department (extraordinary prison set) take us to the ‘80s to the early 2000s through their fantastic teamwork. Santhosh Narayanan Music is the Big Plus and Lifts the film with his brilliant score, especially the King of Sea theme.
Don’t Miss this Epic Gangster Drama and This Film will be a one of the cult classic of Tamil Cinema.
