Vijay’s political thriller Sarkar is the Most Awaited movie of 2018, released this Deepavali in over 3400+ screens around the world. The Film is Directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Kalanithi Maran’s Sun Pictures.
Already on the First day, The film has surpassed the collection of Baahubali 2 in Tamil Nadu and Chennai collection of Kaala. Sarkar earned Rs 30 crore on its opening day in Tamil Nadu alone. Here is the Sarkar First-day collection report.
Just as expected, Sarkar collection has grossed 50 Crores on 2nd day in Tamil Nadu and the film has marked its Rs 100 crores Gross on Worldwide in just 2 days. This makes Sarkar Vijay’s is the fastest Tamil movie to achieve the 100 crs club.
The film has landed in a major controversy with the Tamil Nadu government saying remove some controversial scenes in Sarkar after discussing with the Chief Minister of the state and ruling party has Started Protest against the film.
The film also stars Keerthy Suresh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Radha Ravi in important roles. Music composed by AR Rahman, cinematography by Girish Gangadharan. It is the third collaboration between the AR Murugadoss and Thalapathy Vijay.
