Sarkar Review:
Director AR Murugadoss has packed strong political content with relevant social issues and current scenario. Thalapathy Vijay Single handedly Rules the film with his screen presence and his dialogue delivery. Keerthy Suresh looks Pretty and her role nothing to do in the story other than being alongside the hero. Varalakshmi as a strong protagonist with Radha Ravi and Pala Karuppaiah does well.
The Weak link of the film is the fight scenes are unrealistic, looks like a Telugu film and also Songs placements in the film are forced and act as speed breakers.
AR Rahman’s songs and background score and Girish Gangadharan’s camera work is top notch. He makes a solid Kollywood debut with his excellent work. Kudos to AR Murugadoss and Thalapathy Vijay, need real guts to Speak about the dark reality of our society.
Sarkar Review & Rating: 2.75/5
