Dhanush’s Vada Chennai released this Friday (17 October) and The Film been receiving glowing reviews from critics and audiences. The gangster drama is Directed by Vetrimaaran and also stars Aishwarya Rajesh, Andrea Jeremiah, Samuthirakani, Ameer and Kishore in important roles.

This is the considered record of Biggest opening for an A certified film in Chennai and Dhanush’s all-time highest Gross in Chennai city. The film has collected nearly Rs 54 Lakh on Day 2 at the Chennai city and total Chennai collections currently stand at Rs 1.35 Crore.

Vada Chennai is doing extremely well in Tamil Nadu and international market. Its is the third collaboration between Dhanush and Vetrimaaran. They previously worked together on Polladhavan (2007) and Aadukalam (2011).
